The Reception House at Raymond Memorial by Schmidt's. Schmidt Classic Catering is an off premise catering company that first started catering in the 1920's at a concession stand at the Ohio State Fair. Since then we have catered our famous German Classic Buffet for parties anywhere from 20 people to 10,000 people. In 2005 Schmidt's took over The Reception House at Raymond Memorial as an on premise facility for weddings, corporate, golf outings, and social functions.

Graystone Wine Cellar occupies the hand-hewn limestone vaults of the 1875 Bavarian Brewery in the heart of the historic Brewery District. The Bavarian Brewery, listed in the National Registry of Historic Places, was the first brewery in Columbus to offer lager beer, which had only recently been developed in Czechoslovakia. Established in 1990, they specialize in elegant, intimate special events with dinner seating capacity for up to 104 guests and cocktail receptions for up to 150 guests.
At Graystone, they have built their reputation by focusing on their customers. Their pricing, besides being exrtemely competitive in the market, is entirely straightforward, with no rental fees or any other fees, other than gratuity and sales tax. There is no additional cost to hold a wedding ceremony as long as the reception is held there. They do not require final menu decisions and guest numbers until at most one week before the event. They accommodate vegetarian guests and children with special meals. They provide table centerpieces, cut and serve the wedding cake and provide many other small services at no additional cost. In short, they provide the finest in Columbus hospitality.

Melissa began her career in the hospitality business in Columbus, OH in restaurants when she was 16 years old. She put herself through Ohio State University and achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology while working at the Refectory Restaurant. Melissa joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants in 1997 as an assistant manager and within two years was promoted to general manager of Martini Italian Bistro. In 2001 Cameron Mitchell decided to start a catering company. Melissa was promoted to Director of Catering and given entrepreneurial license to develop the catering company to the sucess it is today.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is an individually franchised gourmet chocolate shop at the Polaris Fashion Mall. The company started 30 years ago in the little town of Durango, Colorado and has now grown to boast over 300 stores nationwide. At our location, we proudly feature eighteen varieties of caramel covered apples along with cookies, fudge, and over 150 different types of decadent chocolate and candy. Over the past two years, I have participated in several bridal shows in which I have showcased many different products that can be utilized as favors for the reception, the rehearsal and also the bridal shower. Some of the many options that we offer as a unique and fully customized wedding favor are the Bride and Groom sets which are available on apples, pretzels, marshmallows, strawberries, and fortune cookies. We also offer the option of creating custom party platters, and will supply items for a candy buffet.
